Guatemala

In the summer of 2012, after high school graduation, I boarded a plane headed for Guatemala. I was setting out on my first adventure and what I knew was the beginning of a life of adventure. I was going to be an intern with Catalyst Resources International, a non-profit run by an American missionary family. I learned so much from my trip to Guatemala. It made me realize that this is the life I truly wanted to live. I was no longer reluctant or dishearten that God had called me to missions, now I was thrilled and ready to work. I found my passion for education and my love for the orphans. I discovered my dream to open my own orphanage and school. And it gave me a passion for the broken and the hurting. Now what I want more than anything is to follow God's path for my life and become the best Kingdom worker I can be. Guatemala was definitely one summer well spent!
