How do you know if an idea pops into your head if it comes from you or God? Is it just a feeling? Is there some kind of confirmation? How can you be sure? Do you jump in and hope it was from God or do you wait for him to tell you again so you will know for sure?
I have always been so sure when he is talking to me. But it seems lately that is more of a whisper. When it comes so quietly how will I know?
And even if He is saying something how do you keep your hopes up when it seems impossibly big for you? Even when you know God can accomplish anything it is hard to believe He can use you to do it when it is so big.
How can you be sure and how can you still have hope when tells you to accomplish something huge?
Hi Brittany, It sounds like the Lord is putting you in situations to exercise your spiritual "ears" like anything else the more you use it the better you get and the easier it will be to hear Gods voice. One way to gauge how you are doing is see where you are now in your walk with Christ and look back at the path you took to get there. I think that if you ask anyone who knows you especially those of us that are praying for you they would agree with me, you would not be where you are now without listening to and obeying the voice of God. Like many others I am praying for you daily. The 4th and 5th grade sunday school class pray for you every week and are hoping you will come to our class and tell us about your mission trip when you return. Randy
